Privacy Policy

SuperCtrlF is designed to search your screenshots and PDFs locally on your device. We do not require an account and we do not operate a service that receives your screenshots, documents, OCR text, or search index.

Information SuperCtrlF Processes

The app may process files you choose to index, including screenshots, images, PDFs, recognized text, match positions, filenames and local file metadata. This processing happens on your device so the app can provide OCR, indexing, search and highlighting.

Where Your Data Stays

Your indexed files remain in their original locations. SuperCtrlF stores its search index and app settings locally on your device. We do not upload your indexed content to our servers.

Purchases

If you buy or restore SuperCtrlF Pro through the App Store, Apple processes the purchase. We may receive standard purchase status information from Apple that is needed to unlock Pro features, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the app, process purchases, comply with law, or protect our rights and users.

Data Deletion

You can delete SuperCtrlF's local index and settings from your device by removing the app data or uninstalling the app. Your original screenshots and PDFs are not deleted by SuperCtrlF unless you delete them yourself outside the app.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
